A St. Louis entrepreneur is taking advantage of the controversy surrounding those Florida ballots. Max Burton is selling bags of ballot “chads” over the internet. He says the events taking place in Florida prompted him to take action. He wants to make sure the chads are properly memorialized in the history of Americana. Burton says collecting the chads has not been easy, so he’s set up what he calls a “proprietary punching machine” in the back of his St. Louis office to come up with enough chads to sell to those who want them.
