A new day is coming to Missouri’s congressional delegation. Next year they’ll be majority republican. Susan Harris, the director of Missouri’s Washington D.C. office, doesn’t expect much turbulence when next year’s delegation turns majority republican, even though they’ll be working with a democratic governor for the first time in ages. She says her office has always tried to work with Missouri’s democratic AND republican representatives. Harris explains that her office not only feeds information on issues important to Missouri to the state’s representatives, it also lobbies the overall congress.
