MO lottery office seeing green

This is the kind of week were the bucks really start to roll in at the Missouri lottery. Lottery spokeswoman Susan Goedde says people take notice when the Powerball hits $50 or 100 million. Most weeks, the lottery sells 1.5 million Powerball tickets. Last week, they moved 4.7 million. And Goedde says that’s just a shadow of the ticket sales they saw in Missouri when the Powerball jackpot hit its all-time high of $295 million. This week’s drawing was worth $130 (M) million. A group of co-workers in New Mexico will split the winnings after buying the winning ticket.
