‘Ole Mizzou may need a new football coach, but the school may be in a better bargaining position these days. M.U. Chancellor Richard Wallace says the school will look pretty attractive to prospective coaches because of improved facilities and drastically improved attendance. Those are things Wallace credits former coach Larry Smith for, who was fired earlier this month after a second straight losing season. Wallace says he talked with athletic director Mike Alden about Smith several months ago, but left the decision to his AD.
