More school woes in Arnold

November 28, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Fox School District board member Steve Ott has filed a complaint with the attorney general. It accuses school board member Pete Nicholas of violating his oath to uphold the state law. Nicholas was the only vote last February against removing a board candidate’s name from the ballot. Candidate Don Houska had not filed a required personal finance disclosure with the state. Houska was removed from the ballot. Ott, a resident of Imperial, had filed the same complaint with the attorney general earlier, but the AG’s office lost it.
