Powerball to top $130 million

November 27, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The powerball jackpot is up to an estimated $130 million for Wednesday night. That’s a $25 million jump from Saturday night’s jackpot. Lottery spokesman Gary Gonder says $100 million is a threshold when people really start to buy the tickets in bunches. That $130 million is only an estimate. If people really get excited, it could be more. Winners can get the money paid in 25 annual payments, or they can take the cash option, which will be about half of the jackpot.
