Not everybody got one, but enough hunters did bag a deer in the last ten days to set a record in Missouri. The conservation department’s Ron Glover says the statewide total is 210,165 deer legally taken. He says the deer were spread out pretty well. Howell County lead the way with 4,166 deer killed; Macon County had 3,716; Henry County had 3,663. Hunters who didn’t bag a deer in this season have a second shot, so to speak. The muzzle-loader season starts in a couple of weeks.
