Two people are accused of making methamphetamine in a Springfield hotel room. Three children with them have been taken into protective custody of the state division of family services. Police say the family from the southwest Missouri town of Noel was at the hotel because a third child, a baby, was in a hospital in Springfield. That child also has been placed in custody of the division of family services.
