Two Springfield High school students have been arrested after telling another student a bomb was in a creek bed near the school. The Springfield fire department’s bomb squad says the device had flammable material in it, but it was not a bomb. It happened at a park near Parkview High School, near a small footbridge. Police aren’t sure if the item ever made it inside the school. It was disabled without any injuries.
