A member of Missouri’s electoral college is defending the way we elect a President. Mike Korte of St. Joseph goes so far as to say the set-up doesn’t need to be reformed. Korte says the arrangement makes sure smaller states like Missouri have enough of a voice in electing someone. Missouri’s delegation of 11 electors will meet in Jefferson City on December 18th to cast their votes. Party officials say they will all vote for George W. Bush.
