Despite the fact they won none of the races they contested last Tuesday, the Missouri Libertarians are pleased with their party’s showing. Communications director Jeanne Bojarski says the Libertarian Party benefits from the fact one of its statewide candidates received more than 2% of the votes cast, giving it an automatic spot on the next statewide ballot. Attorney general candidate Mitch Moore earned 2.3% of the ballots cast in his race. Bojarski says the party’s successes are small steps on the road to larger accomplishments.
