Rams quarterback Trent Green has been named the NFC’s player of the week for his five touchdown performance against the Giants Sunday. Green threw four touchdown passes, and ran for another score. This is the fifth time this season that a Ram player has won the award. Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk have each won it twice. Green now has enough passing attempts to qualify among the league leaders in quarterback rating, and he ranks second in the NFL, behind teammate Kurt Warner.
