Chiefs Go Flat In Frisco

November 15, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The Chiefs had averaged 36 points in their last three games. The 49ers hadn’t stopped anybody all year, and had just two wins. But the ‘Niners stopped the Chiefs, and beat them 21-7. San Francisco snapped a five game losing streak as Charlie Garner rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown. The Chiefs gained just 107 yards in the first half, and finally got on the board on Donnell Bennett’s 1-yard run with 6:27 left in the game. Elvis Grbac completed just six passes in the first half, and finished 22 of 40 for 271 yards and threw a key interception. The Chiefs are 5-5, and host Buffalo next week.
