Gephardt urges election changes

November 14, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The leader of House democrats in Washington thinks it’s time to restructure the way we vote for President. Congressman Richard Gephardt of St.Louis thinks Tuesdays are bad days for national elections. He suggests Saturdays and Sundays for balloting. He also says the way Presidents are really picked is an idea long past its time. Finally, Gephardt suggests polling places should close at the same time nationwide.
