A teenage deer hunter has been killed hours before deer season even began. David McQuinley, 18, was shot once in the chest late yesterday afternoon east of Lebanon. The Fort Leonard Wood teenager and some friends had been out scouting for good areas to hunt today. The unidentified shooter told police he was hunting wild pigs and fired a shot when he saw movement. The Fort Wood area does have a number of wild pigs popular with hunters. The shooting has been ruled accidental.
