Missouri’s top elections official concedes somebody needs to investigate the St. Louis elections board. Secretary of State Bekki Cook says Tuesday night’s court fight about keeping polling places open longer than usual points to serious questions. She thinks somebody else, perhaps federal investigators, should run the inquiry. But she says she’ll send in her people if the federal officials don’t.
