Treasurer hopeful to hold the course

November 3, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The Democrat running for the position of State Treasurer likes the way things are going in Missouri. Nancy Farmer doesn’t want to rock the boat. But she says there’s an opportunity to build on the state’s economic successes. In particular, she wants to make sure there is an adequate supply of affordable housing. Farmer says the Treasurer has the authority to look into all federal and state monies that are available for citizens of the state, to try and maximize the use of that money.
