Governor Wilson says he hasn’t been this busy since he was the chairman of the state senate appropriations committee. He’s in his third week in the governor’s office. His experience with state budgets while he was in the senate will be important in the next two months as he puts together the next recommended budget for state agencies and services. Wilson says he had certainly not planned to become governor, but knew the possibility was part of the job description when he became lieutenant governor.
