A female student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City has been kidnapped and raped. Police say a man with a handgun forced the woman into her car at mid-afternoon Monday, drove several blocks and raped her. University officials are reminding students that it has a volunteer escort service available between dusk and 10:00 P.M. That service wouldn’t have done much good for the woman raped this week. She was abducted before 4:00.
