Rams punt returner Az-Zahir Hakim is the NFC’s special teams player of the week. Hakim returned 3 punts for 91 yards in San Francisco, and all three set up Ram touchdowns. It’s the second time in his career Hakim has won that honor. Because of injuries at the running back position, the Rams have signed running back Anthony White, a rookie from Kentucky, to the practice squad. To make room for White, the team released quarterback Marc Bulger, who was signed last week.
