A man armed with a $500 golf club has saved a Kansas City boy from a dog attack. It happened when the boy was waiting at a bus stop in east Kansas City Monday. A stray rotweiller had attacked the boy, biting him on his back and legs. The animal was dragging the boy by his backpack when a neighbor saw what was happening, and bashed the dog in the head with a golf club. The boy is fine; the dog suffered a broken jaw. It’s being held by animal control officials, who’re checking him for rabies.
