Blues Streak into Nashville

November 1, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The Blues take a five-game winning streak into Nashville for a Halloween contest against the Predators. St. Louis’ 8-2-1 record matches the best start in team history, also recorded in 1993 and 1998. Blues coach Joel Quenneville says the key to the start has been great goaltending, from both Roman Turek and backup Brent Johnson. With 17 points, the Blues are third in the Western Conference behind Colorado and Phoenix, each with 20 points. Nashville is 4-2-3.
