All five number one teams won in week one of district play, and all kept their number one status in this week’s Linn State Technical College High School Football Poll. From 5A down, Rockhurst, Ozark, Platte County, South Shelby and Sante Fe are the number ones. In 5A, every top-ten team won, leaving the poll unchanged. In 4A, #5 Branson lost, but stayed at #5 because the opponent was top-ranked Ozark. The voters kept Grandview in at #10, despite its loss to 0-7 Belton. Mexico enters at #9. In 3A, O’Hara replaced Boonville at #10. Class 2A is unchanged. Appleton City and Concordia dropped out of the top ten in 1A, replaced by Hayti and Sarcoxie.
