Senator John Ashcroft went to City Union Mission in Kansas City to re-start his suspended campaign. But Ashcroft insisted as he prepared meals for the homeless there that it wasn’t an official campaign event. He says he’ll begin talking policy and campaign issues again soon, perhaps later in the week. During yesterday’s event, Ashcroft talked about the difficult turn-of-events, and how it reinforces the importance of supporting and encouraging each other.
