Those are among the messages written on a giant farewell card for Governor Carnahan in St. Louis. Another woman thanked Jean Carnahan for the “gift” of her husband and son. How could she repay them, she asked, but to fulfill his dreams for the state. Several children also signed the card. It was one of several tributes to Governor Carnahan at last week’s candlelight vigil at Forest Park.
