Just maybe, Sunday’s game between the Chiefs and the Rams at Arrowhead Stadium will come down to a field goal attempt by the Rams’ new kicker. If that does happen, it would make quite a coincidence, because the Rams would send Pete Stoyanovich on to try the game winning kick, and Stoyanovich was released by the Chiefs just last week. Whether or not the game comes down to a kick, Stoyanovich figures to get plenty of chances, because Rams kicker Jeff Wilkins was leading the league in points before suffering a leg injury.Rams running back Marshall Faulk is the NFC’s offensive player of the week after rushing for 208 yards last week.
