Racer Roper Mourned in Fair Grove

Friends and fans in Fair Grove spent Wednesday mourning the loss of race driver Tony Roper. Roper, a Fair Grove native, died of injuries suffered in a NASCAR truck race in Texas last Saturday. Hundreds attended a memorial service for Roper yesterday at Fair Grove High school, from which he graduated in 1983.
