More than 500 people came to the University of Missouri Columbia campus for a memorial service on the Francis Quadrangle. M.U. Chancellor Richard Wallace said last night the Jesse Hall dome will remain darkened until Saturday. The university also followed a years-long tradition of ringing the bell on Switzler Hall, M.U.’s oldest classroom building, to honor “school family” who have passed away.
