(Jefferson City) Vice President Al Gore and his wife have paid a visit to first lady Jean Carnahan and family at the Governor’s Mansion this morning in Jefferson City. The Gore’s paid their respects to the family for the loss of Governor Carnahan, the Carnahan’s son Randy, and campaign advisor Chris Sifford who were all killed in a plane crash Monday in eastern Missouri. The Gore’s drove up to the mansion in a limousine and were met on the steps by Mrs. Carnahan. The couple left about 40 minutes later.
