Hickory County investigators are trying to figure out who kidnapped the manager from a small-town convenience store. The woman disappeared Tuesday, only to turn up later in the day, bound in duct tape on a gravel road two miles north of the store. She had left the Bull’s Eye convenience store in Weaubleau to make a bank deposit when she disappeared. Hickory County Sheriff Ray Tipton says the woman’s injuries don’t appear life-threatening.
