Fatal hill jump results in charges

October 9, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

A fatal hill-jumping traffic accident has lead to serious charges against the survivors. Two teenagers face charges in the September accident that took the life of a 15-year-old girl in Independence. Family court officials in Jackson County haven’t decided if they’ll charge the two teenagers as adults. The victim was killed on a hill on Ringo Road, after her car went airborne and hit another car coming the opposite direction.
