Gaming commission talking tough

October 2, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

A warning to the owners of Station Casinos. The Missouri Gaming Commission says it didn’t like having company executives ignore subpoenas to appear at a hearing last month, but there could be problems if they refuse to show up at a hearing next month. Commission Chairman L.G. Ullery reminds Station Casino executives that licenses for facilities in St. Charles and Kansas City are coming up for renewal, so it’s wise to take care of business now. The Commission wants to know about the activities of a Station Casino lawyer who received a $500,000 dollar bonus for work he had done. The company says it has nothing new to add to what is already known.
