Republican AG candidate ired

Republican candidate for attorney general Sam Jones is renewing his attack over Missouri’s tobacco settlement. Jones is blasting Jay Nixon for hiring a campaign donor to oversee the lucrative tobacco lawsuit. Tom Strong stands to make millions as part of the state’s $6.7 billion settlement. Jones complains Nixon chose him because he is a campaign contributor, and that the move will reduce the amount of money the state will receive.
