Rams "D" Won’t Get Shot at Falling Leaf

September 26, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Rams coach Mike Martz is happy to be 4-0, happy to have beaten Atlanta, but happiest about his defense. The Rams had seven sacks against the Falcons. They should have a rather easy time of it this week when the 0-4 Chargers visit. Embattled Ryan Leaf, who has a wrist injury, will not start for San Diego. Moses Moreno is also hurt, so the Chargers will turn to veteran Jim Harbaugh at quarterback. For the Rams, safety Devin bush, receiver Ricky Proehl and linebacker Todd Collins may all miss Sunday’s game with injuries.
