Springfield church, eatery at odds

City officials in Ozark are trying to resolve a debate over selling liquor within city limits. There’s talk of enacting a 300-foot minimum distance between churches or schools, and businesses selling alcohol. Right now the distance is set at 100 feet. Pastor Mike Eakins of the Ozark Full Gospel Church is particularly concerned with the Carriage Inn Steak and Oyster House near the church. He complains the restaurant is being inconsiderate of community values.
