Rams pro bowl defensive end Kevin Carter will be benched Sunday in Atlanta for missing practice. Carter didn’t come to practice Wednesday after his wife had a baby Tuesday. Coach Mike Martz says the problem is Carter didn’t call to make any arrangements. Sean Moran will start, and will play most of the game. The benching will end Carter’s consecutve start streak at 83 games.
