Gaming commission to be scrutinized

A joint legislative committee is set for this fall to look into some of the questions surrounding the gaming industry and how it seems to get so much of what it wants from the Missouri Gaming Commission. Senate Republican Leader Steve Ehlmann wants to know why the commission has failed to enforce subpoenas issued to seven members of Station Casinos in a dispute over gaming procedures. Senator Ehlmann says some lobbyists are being paid huge bonuses by the gaming industry and he feels explanations are needed.
