A Missouri Congressman working with the Republican Party to hold on to its majority status in Congress says the presidential race will play a role. Southwest Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt has been thrust into the tug of war over the Congress by virtue of his position as Deputy Whip. He says the presidential race could sway key Congressional races. Blunt says both parties are watching closely developments in two Missouri races, the 2nd in St. Louis and the 6th in northwest Missouri. Both have become open races with the incumbents leaving their offices.
