Authorities in south-central Missouri spent four hours searching for the suspect in a police dragging. Officers say Robert Cravens of Moline, Illinois, was in Willow Springs yesterday with a stolen truck. The officer was injured after trying to arrest Cravens and being dragged a short distance. That spawned a door-to-door search involving sheriff deputies and highway patrol K-9 units. Cravens was tackled and arrested in downtown Willow Springs four hours later. He’s charged with assault of a police officer and is being held on $200,000 bond. The injured officer is in stable condition.
