Rams Light Up Niners in 2nd Half

September 18, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

San Francisco tore through the Ram defense, but it was another day, another 41 points for the Ram offense, as St. Louis won going away, 41-24. The game was tied at 17 at halftime, but the Rams shifted into another gear in the second half, outscoring the Niners 24-7. Kurt Warner threw two interceptions, giving him six in three games. He threw 13 interceptions all of last year. But he also passed for 394 yards and two touchdowns. He has thrown for more yards in the first three games of the season than anyone in NFL history. Isaac Bruce caught 8 passes for 188 yards, and Marshall Faulk rushed for 134 yards as the Rams improved to 3-0. Ram receiver Tony Horne made his first career reception, an 18 yard touchdown pass.
