George “Baby” Harris was put to death early in the morning on September 13th at the Potosi state prison for the 1989 murder of another man in Kansas City. The two had been quarreling about some guns outside of a crack house. Tim Kniest, the spokesman for the Department of Corrections, says all four drugs were administered by 12:04 AM. He was pronounced dead two minutes later. Harris’ final statement was, “Somebody needs to kill my trial attorney.”
