A massive manhunt in south-central Missouri has ended with the apparent suicide of the man authorities were searching for. A member of the Bunker city council found the body of Garry Watson two days after he disappeared in Shannon County. An autopsy determined Watson killed himself with a shotgun. Authorities sought Watson in the shooting death of city maintenance worker Rocky Gordon and alderman David Thompson and the wounding of maintenance worker Eugene Dunn and Bunker police officer Steve Stoops. The shootings grew out of a dispute Watson had with the city over an easement on his property.
