Bears Hurting at Tailback

September 14, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Southwest Missouri State is off to a 1-1 start, and goes on the road to play a solid McNeese State team this Saturday. Bears coach Randy Ball says with Eric Tasby getting hurt in the last game, the Bears are beat up at running back. Tasby has a hip pointer, and starter Jason Ringena is still out with a shoulder injury. Ball thinks Tasby should be able to play Saturday. Ball says his team’s opening week loss at Arkansas ought to help his players deal with the rowdy atmosphere at McNeese State.
