Senator John Ashcroft is touting an achievement of a re-election campaign goal. He has made at least one visit to each of Missouri’s 114 counties. Ashcroft completed visits to each county this weekend by making stops in Polk and Dallas Counties. Ashcroft has challenged Mel Carnahan to match his achievement. The Carnahan campaign says the governor has visited all the counties during his long public life, and adds Carnahan’s stance on the issues is more important than where he has made campaign stops.
