Kurt Warner’s 41-yard strike to Torry Holt set up Jeff Wilkins’ game-winning field goal with 23 seconds left as the Rams won another shootout, beating the Seahawks 37-34. The Rams faced 3rd and 17 from the 50 with under a minute left when Warner lofted a perfect pass to Holt down the left sideline, setting up Wilkins’ kick on the next play. Warner completed 35 of 47 passes for 386 yards, one TD and one interception, completing 16 straight passes in one stretch. He spread the ball around, throwing passes to nine different receivers, led by Holt with 6 catches for 101 yards and Isaac Bruce who caught 6 for 87 yards. Marshall Faulk had 153 yards combined rushing and receiving. Devin Bush gave the Rams a key 4th quarter touchdown on a 15 yard fumble return. The Rams set an NFL record by scoring 30 or more points for their 8th consecutive regular season game, as they improved to 2-0.
