The rains have hit at just the right time for some farmers, but for others, this has been a terrible year. Agronomist Jerry Gogan with Farmland Industries says some crops look pretty bad in parts of Missouri. Gogan says brown fields mean a loss of livelihood, and this summer has been a killer for a lot of soybean farmers. Farmland Industries is the nation’s biggest farm cooperative.
