Chiefs Angle for Attendance Record

September 8, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The Chiefs are calling it “unique.” Others might call it “trumped up.” In an attempt to break the NFL’s all-time on-site attendance record, the Chiefs will simulcast ABC’s broadcast from Arrowhead on October 2nd on the video board at Kauffman Stadium and sell tickets so fans can watch the game at the K. The tickets to the Kauffman viewing will go for ten bucks. The regular season attendance record is 90,833 for a Rams-Bears game 42 years ago at Los Angeles Coliseum. The Chiefs’ number one draft pick took just one game to move into the starting lineup. Sylvester Morris will start at wide receiver in Tennessee, replacing Kevin Lockett.
