Missouri’s Department of Education is pleased with new statistics from the College Board showing the number of students from this state enrolled in Advanced Placement classes is on the rise. It also shows those taking the college-level courses are performing well. Department spokesman Jim Morris says there’s more good news in that SAT scores for Missourians are up. Missouri’s composite SAT score increased by 5 points this year to 1,149.
