It’s been ten years since the Americans With Disabilities Act became law and the disabled and their advocates say there is still a long way to go before those with disabilities can get around obstacle-free. Frank Nease with Missouri’s Independent Living Resource Center is calling for people with all kinds of disabilities to join forces to ensure future compliance. Nease wants people with epilepsy fighting for the rights of those who are deaf; the blind working for the rights of those in wheelchairs.
