A former coach at Southwest Baptist University who alleges sex discrimination is getting her day in court against the school. Anne Julian coached for three years at Southwest Baptist, and says she was paid less then male coaches with similar duties, and that women’s teams received less support from the school than men’s teams. Julian says she was fired after complaining about the disparity. Southwest Baptist says Julian was fired for not feeding her players when they lost, and for not taking criticism well. The trial got underway Monday in Kansas City.
